Great gear starts with great design, and we're here to help! Please answer the following questions completely and concisely, and send any images, logos, and design elements that you have to your VC rep or info@vcultimate.com.

Design Services

Complimentary design service is offered for orders of 15+ units of the same design, and is based on order size:

• 15 to 49 units – 2 free hours
• 50 – 99 units – 3 free hours
• 100+ units – 4 free hours

*Revisions are major changes involving the entire design; minor corrections are a number font change or a sleeve logo repositioning for example.

Our creative team is a key part of our company integrity, and their work represents our brands. VC-designed artwork and concepts may not be used when placing orders with other companies. VC does not send original artwork to customers to use elsewhere.

Design Deposit

A modest deposit to cover our initial design time is required before we address your creative artwork request. This fee of $80 will cover two hours (at $40/hour). Your deposit will be credited in full to your invoice – if you have not exceeded the allotted free time – when you place your order; but will not be refunded nor credited if a product has been designed and you later opt not to order it.

Logo Quality & Redrawing

Generally speaking, to ensure the best results, we need vector-based logos and art for production.

Need a logo vectorized? No problem! We're happy to send your logo/art aspect out to a trusted supplier who specializes in quickly vectorizing art. A $20 fee will apply, unless the art is more complicated (gradients, fine details, poor example image) in which case we will provide a quote for detailed re-drawing.

If you are purchasing logos or images from sites like Freepik or Vecteezy, make sure you order the correct license, and download and send over the purchased files (no screen captures can be accepted).

Copyright & Fair-use

As a team of designers and design-appreciating folks, we follow the rules. If you are unsure about copyright infringement for your logo/design, please read our post about the Do's and Don'ts of Fair Use.

Colours

All sublimated apparel is printed using Pantone Solid Coated colour values. Even if you don’t have specific colour codes, please check out https://coolors.co/ to help communicate the colour/colour scheme you’re looking for.

Fonts

Font(s) can be a key aspect of your design, and need to be provided if you have a specific one for us to use (please download and send over the font files). Check out sites like Font Squirrel and DaFont. 

Your Ideas

Visual representations of your ideas are extremely helpful, regardless of how "rough" they are. Send any sketches, logos, art elements, and font files to info@vcultimate.com once you have completed your form.

Tips: Be as specific and detailed as possible to help us create your vision accurately within the scope of the project. Run your ideas by your team before submitting your design request to make sure you're on the same page and use your free design time efficiently.

Uniform Requirements

Do your uniform design(s) have to comply with any specific uniform requirements? (Ultimate Canada, USAU, WFDF, Dodgeball Canada, etc.) 

VC Logos

We appreciate the opportunity to place VC logos in up to two positions on your jerseys: the sleeve/bicep and/or the back nape of neck (above the numbers). If you would prefer only one (or no) VC logo on your jersey, please let us know during the design process. Our signature VC rubber logo is always placed on the lower left side of the garment.

Confident that you have the Illustrator skills to design your own apparel? Fantastic! Send us a request for any of our custom sublimation templates. Our team of production design experts will review your files and send feedback on any suggested updates or requirements.
